Shareholders in Mecanica Rotes approved the listing of the company on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, as well as a share capital increase by 14 million RON (4.3 million EUR), from 12,8 million RON to 26.87 million RON, according to a company press release. Mecanica Rotes will issue 14.08 million shares with a face value of 1 RON.
The company ended 2006 with a net profit of 1.5 million RON, down 22% from 1.92 million RON in the past year. Turnover rose by 3.6% to 6 million RON, compared with 5.787 million RON in 2005.
Mecanica Rotes manufactures oxy-gas welding and cutting equipment and has a share capital of 8.4 million RON, divided into 8.4 million shares with a face value of 1 RON. The significant shareholders in the company are SIF Oltenia - SIF5 (23.94%), Catalin Chelu (23.18%), Amirastar Trading SA (20.25%), Ionel Maricel Stan (11.57%) and MEI Roemenie & Bulgarije Fonds NV (6.54%).
