Investments in education are becoming increasingly substantial. The Minister of Education, Ligia Deca, stated that through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the face of schools in Romania will change, and she emphasized that over 2,500 funding contracts have already been concluded for equipping nearly 6,000 educational units and related facilities. According to the minister: "Over 2,500 funding contracts have already been concluded for equipping nearly 6,000 educational units and related facilities, so that in any classroom we enter in the future, we will find at least an interactive whiteboard, a laptop, a sound system, and any other resources necessary for teachers and students to carry out their activities under the best conditions." She also mentioned that contracts have been signed for the acquisition of electric minibuses and the development of dual education campuses. Ligia Deca further stated: "Since many of the planned investments can only be implemented with the support of local public authorities, I was pleased that today, during the "Local Administration Hour' debate organized on the Local Public Administration Platform, I had the opportunity not only to present the development opportunities through the PNRR but also to express my gratitude to the representatives of local public authorities for all the effort put in so far. I continue to rely on their determination, involvement, and commitment to successfully complete all investments, and I assure you that I will provide my full support to the entire school community to achieve our goal - ensuring quality education for every student in Romania, tailored to the specific needs of each local community." While equipment is essential, the human resource aspect should not be neglected.
