EnglishThe State Assets Recovery Authority (AVAS) has failed to sell its holding in Moldoplast - Iaşi (RASDAQ:MLPL). According to the Communication Department of AVAS, no one bought a tender book and no bidder attended the auction organized for this purpose on 15 September.
AVAS had announced intent to sell 112,541 shares equal to 1 per cent in Moldoplast SA at auction, the starting price being 5 RON/share. The last transaction involving MLPL shares took place on 20 August 2009 and the price was 1.3 RON/share.
Moldoplast is a plastic factory controlled by International Import Export Company - Iaşi with 96.36 per cent. The remaining shares are held by AVAS (1 per cent), several individuals (2.42 per cent in total) and several businesses (0.21 per cent in total).
