Nokia has inaugurated their Romanian site, in Cluj Napoca, following last year"s acquisition of Intellisync. The subsidiary has 110 employees, most of whom are programmers. "Our products are let"s say a first aid kit. We want them to be available to a wide range of users, irrespective of their background," said Valentin Deac, Senior Engineering Manager for Cluj-Napoca. He added that, although Nokia Enterprise Solutions had signed agreements with 35 operators and sold over 2 million Nokia E-Series devices, none of the major customers were based in Romania. "Our solutions are sold mainly abroad. For instance, we have a product with over one million users with DoCoMo in Japan.
