EnglishProfi Rom Food has reached an agreement with Maxima LT regarding the complete acquisition of Albinuta Shops. The two companies will notify competition regulators to obtain clearance for the completion of the process. Albinuta Shops, fully owned by the Lithuanian company Maxima LT, comprises nine stores in Bucharest and concluded last year with 23 million EUR in turnover.
Profi Rom Food will expand their network to 37 stores across the country. The company reported 73 million EUR in turnover for last year. For this transaction, PricewaterhouseCoopers provided financial consultancy to Maxima LT, whereas Radu Taracila Padurari Retevoescu SCA provided legal services to Profi Rom Food. Maxima LT was legally assisted by David & Baias.
