EnglishRomsym Data marked their 15th anniversary on the Romanian software market with a 37% increase in turnover and revenues of nearly 7 million EUR. The revenue derived from software resale is structured as follows: Symantec - 25%, Adobe - 22%, Microfocus - 10%, Business Objects - 8%, SPSS - 7%, Red Hat - 5%, others - 31%.
Executive Manager Razvan Balient believes the increase in revenue is the natural consequence of a more mature software market in Romania. He points out that Romsym Data has achieved an average 35% y/y turnover growth every year since 2003. Moreover, Romsym Consulting"s IT Training and Consultancy Center posted a 50% growth in turnover from 300,000 EUR in 2006 to 450,000 EUR in 2007 and an average 50% growth per year between 2003 and 2007.
Romsym Data is the first Romanian company to obtain the BS 7799-2:2002 certification for information security management from the Romanian Quality Assurance Society and IQNet.
