Inventor Iuliean Horneţ has patented a technology which, allows the conversion of biomass into electrical and thermal energy, at low costs. This technology sold by EcoHornet allows the ecological processing of pellets made from many types of waste.

Iuliean Horneţ said: "We can totally eliminate fossil fuels, which are polluting and expensive, we can manufacture thermal and electrical energy in an efficient, economic and ecological manner with the planet's most abundant resource- biomass (garbage, agricultural, forest, farming detritus and waste, a selection of combustible household waste, energy-generating plants, ground wood, especially deteriorated and dried up wood from forests and uncultivated land, even the ones that have a high silicon content, sawdust or mixture etc.). Compacting the biomass into pellets ensures the immediate cleanup of the soil, air and water. Producing thermal and electric energy from biomass and their large scale use, in every sector, can ensure, to a great degree, the country's energy independence".

The EcoHornet technology is aimed at farmers, companies that process wood and household waste, livestock and poultry breeders, farmers that grow plants used for energy production, local administrations and households, which can profitably sell their garbage and waste, with a minimal investment, says Mr. Horneţ.

The inventor pleaded for the development of the biomass-based energy production, stressing the fact that governments can play a major role in motivating the private sector to invest in innovative technologies by providing clear, predictable, durable and consistent incentives.
