EnglishTHR Marea Neagra (Tourism, Hotels, Restaurants) posted a net profit of 7.29 million RON (2.32 million EUR) in the second quarter, compared with losses of 3.76 million RON in the same period last year, according to a company press release. Turnover amounted to 3.77 million RON (1.2 million EUR), down 12.8% from 4.33 million RON in the year-ago quarter.
In the first six months, the company posted a turnover of 3.96 million RON (1.26 million EUR), dropping 12.21% from 4.57 million RON in the same period last year. Net profit amounted to 3.61 million RON (1.15 million EUR) in the first half of the year, as compared with losses of 6.57 million RON in H1 2006.
The company estimates a net profit of 4.79 million RON for the current year, down 18.28% from 2006. Revenues are expected to top 44 million RON, while expenses should reach 38.33 million RON.
THR Marea Neagra is listed on Tier 2 of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as EFO. The company has a share capital of 19.31 million RON and a capitalisation of 419.05 million RON (131.36 million EUR).
