Volksbank Leasing Romania (VB LEASING RO) concluded last year contracts exceeding 186 million EUR, the company reporting a growth of over 68% year-on-year. The number of contracts registered a similar increase, reaching 11.000.
The company"s turnover crossed the 100 million EUR mark in 2005, when VB LEASING RO secured contracts worth over 110 million EUR, compared to the 50 million EUR posted in 2004. "The results for 2006 strengthen VB LEASING RO"s position on the market and confirm the fact that our strategic objective to become one of the top five independent leasing companies in Romania and maintain our position has been reached", said Werner Topic, Administrator of VB LEASING.
The expansion of the company"s territorial branch network continued, reaching 13 branches at the end of last year - Bucharest, Brasov, Timisoara, Constanta, Cluj, Iasi, Craiova, Baia Mare, Sibiu, Oradea, Bacau, Galati and Pitesti.
