Poultry farm Avicola - Crevedia (RASDAQ:AVRE) concluded last year with losses of 3.53 million RON (1.04 million EUR), compared to a net profit of 1.44 million RON in 2005, as a result of the avian flu. Avicola also reported operating losses of 3.37 million RON, operating revenues of 86.9 million RON and operating expenses of 90.26 million RON. The turnover gained 63% from 44 million RON in 2005 to 72 million RON in 2006.
Avicola Crevedia has a share capital of 24.79 million RON divided into 21 million shares with a face value of 1.18 RON. The leading shareholders are Avicola Holding (51.11%), TEC Miaco SA (41.88%) and AVAS (1.12%).
