EnglishThe National Coal company (SNC) and Carbonifera - Ploiesti may initiate bankruptcy procedures against thermo power plants (CET) in Brasov and Bacau because of overdue debts exceeding 15 million RON. CET Brasov alone owes an aggregate 10 million RON to the two coal suppliers. Nonetheless, SNC and Carbonifera have their own financial problems and need to collect the receivables in order to stay operational. CET Brasov said they were hoping to receive additional funds at the budget rectification and would make a partial payment in July.
