Citibank Romania SA, Fildas Group and Deloitte Romania have announced the successful completion of the syndication of an 80 million EUR loan for Fildas Group, a leading local pharmaceutical player.
"Over the last 15 years, we have increased the annual sales profit from 2 million USD to 15 million USD and have developed a countrywide distribution and retail network, Catena. This is a unique syndicated loan for Romania as Fildas is 100% property of a Romanian entrepreneur who happens to be a woman," said Fildas Group CEO Anca Vlad.
"Estimates indicate an annual market growth of 15%. This loan will provide us with the necessary financing to become market leaders," she added.
The loan is syndicated by Alpha Bank Romania, Bancpost, Citibank Romania, Garanti Bank, HVB Tiriac Bank, Investkredit Bank, OTP Bank, Piraeus Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, BRD Societe Generale, Unicredit Romania.
