Bucharest-based construction company Cominco posted a turnover of 170.17 million RON (50.7 million EUR) at the end of the first nine months of the year, marking a 76.3% growth compared to the first nine months of 2006. However, profit remained modest, according to an announcement to RASDAQ. Last year"s result was 96.4 million RON (28.7 million EUR) / 9 months. The profit made in the first three quarters of 2007 amounted to 168,500 RON (50,200 EUR), up 2.35x y/y from 71,500 RON. The net profit in the first 9 months of the year equals some 0.1% of the turnover.
The company has a share capital of 4.5 million RON (1.34 million EUR) divided into 1.8 million shares with a face value of 2.5 RON. Cominco is listed on RASDAQ as COBS. The market value is 178.39 million RON (53.39 million EUR) as per the latest quotation of 99 RON dated November 2nd. This year, COBS share value surged 11x from 9 to 99 RON/share.
