Diverta is planning to open a second store in Cluj Napoca and new stores in Brasov, Alba Iulia, Petrosani and Targu Mures within a month as the retailer continues to focus on regional growth. Two new stores will follow early next year, in Constanta and Galati. Those slated for opening before the year-end measure over 1,500 sq.m. in total and require some 1 million EUR to open.
Nine months through the year, Diverta posted a turnover in excess of 30 million EUR, up by some 28% y/y. While all product categories marked significant growth, book sales in particular surged 35%, closely followed by media. The year-end estimate is 47 million EUR in turnover.
