Franke Romania is planning to introduce Faber cooking stove hoods to complement the existing product portfolio and go for the leading position on this specific market. The Romanian market for cooking stove hoods stands at some 270,000 units per year. Faber is the world"s third manufacturer of cooking stove hoods and first manufacturer of decorative hoods, according to Franke Romania CEO Valeriu Cobaschi.
Franke Romania offers integrated kitchen solutions based on a portfolio of over 1,000 odels, of which 10-15% are refreshed annually. The turnover exceeded 11 million EUR in 2006, according to Cobaschi, who believes sales will gain 10% this year. The Romanian market for built-in appliances is 6% of the overall appliances market.
