Proactive Business Communication and Addveritas yesterday launched the first edition of the International Wine Fair GoodWine, (October 2-4). The event will be hosted at World Trade Center - Hotel Pullman and will feature domestic and foreign producers, distributors and importers of premium wines.
In a press conference, the promoters of the event said that the fair is targeted at the Horeca segment, as well as wine lovers. Raiffeisen Bank is the official partner of the fair. Marinel Burduja, First vice-president of Raiffeisen Bank, said: "The institution I represent supports this unique event, as well as the wine industry through our continued financing we provide. We have lent money to to five Romanian winemakers, for current operations, as well as for European-funded projects".
Mr. Burduja expressed his disappointment with the fact that domestic winemakers do not do enough to promote themselves both in Romania and abroad, especially given the quality of Romanian wines. Victor Surdu, representative of Arte&Vino, said that domestic producers do not advertise their wines enough and they are not open to the new events in the area.
