The Daewoo Automobile Romania privatization commission has been set up, according to Oana Marinescu, spokesperson for the Government. The commission will be chaired by Finance Minister Sebastian Vladescu, Economy & Trade Minister Varujan Vosganian, Transportation, Construction and Tourism Minister Radu Berceanu, Labor Minister Gheorghe Barbu, AVAS president Teodor Atanasiu, PM Advisor Razvan Orasanu and AVAS VP Gyerko Laszlo. Marinescu added that General Motors and Ford had expressed interest in acquiring the Romanian carmaker.
