EnglishMOL Romania last year posted 524.426.497 EUR in turnover, up nearly 25% compared to 2005. Fuel sales account for 80% of the company"s turnover, while 20% was obtained from additional services provided by MOL gas stations. In 2006, the company"s market share increased to 14,4%, MOL ranking second on the Romanian fuel retail market. Last year, fuel sales rose by 26,3% compared to 2005, while gas station stores sales increased by 24,4% year-on-year. This year, MOL will expand its network through Greenfield investments and brownfield acquisitions, the investments reaching 12 million EUR. By the end of this year, the company will have 129 gas stations throughout the country.
