Out of the 360 types of wine on display at the International Wine Fair GoodWine Bucharest Romania, 100 will be presented on the Romanian market for the first time.

Some of the producers that will present new varieties of wine include "Murfatlar", "Recaş" and "Vinarte". The latter will announce five new varieties of wine. Also, the "Girboiu" wine cellar will premiere the "Bacanta" range of wines intended for HoReCa and specialized stores. The "Bacanta" range includes exceptional wines, fermented and vinified in stainless steel containers, with a controlled temperature and aged in new barrels imported from France.

Other winemakers that will launch new wines at the fair include "Casa Panciu", "Budureasca", Crama "Oprişor", "Curtea Regală", SERVE, the "Rotenberg" Wine Cellar, the Dealu Mare Urlaţi Domains, the Ostrov Domains, "Edoardo Miroglio" (Bulgaria), "Tenuta Carretta" (Italy), "Ade Excal" (Spain), "Bodegas Vicente Gandia" (Spain) etc. The Chilean Embassy will use the opportunity provided by the Fair to launch over 50 varieties of wines made by Chilean producers.

The fourth edition of the International Wine Fair GoodWine Bucharest Romania will begin today, at the "Pullman" hotel of Bucharest. Organized by "Proactive Business Communication", the event will bring together over 30 winemakers, importers and distributors of premium wines, as well as foreign winemakers. According to the organizer, the event, which will last three days (October 26th - October 28th), "will be a true marathon of wine launches, wine tasting and presentations, as well as gastronomic shows".

The fair is targeted at the HoReCa segment, as well as at wine lovers, which will have the opportunity to taste wines from Romania, France, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Australia, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, California, USA, Georgia.

Aside from companies in the wine sector the "GoodWine" fair will also be attended by ten companies operating in ancillary sector - mineral water bottlers, makers of refrigeration equipment, wine accessories, travel agencies, book publishers, carmakers. Also attending will be officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, the Association of Certified Wine Tasters in Romania, the Association of Wine Stewards in Romania, The Order of the Knights of European Wine, the Club of Winemaking Related Publications, as well as representatives of organizations representing the industry.

For the duration of the event, professional chefs from the Bella Italia Chef School, from various restaurants, and from the "Aroma" Center for Excellence in Gastronomy will be cooking foods that will complement the wines on display at the fair. Writer and wine taster Cătălin Paduraru will host the ceremony. All throughout the weekend there will be wine tastings of high class wines and "Vinexpert" will present the "Riedel" range of glasses.

We set the tone of this event one year ago, and we have succeeded in making "GoodWine" a key event for the wine industry. November"s edition provides the companies participating in the fair with the best opportunity to present their products to a well targeted audience, right before the marketing campaigns for the sales before the Christmas holidays" said Angelica Iva, the general manager of "Proactive Business Communication".

The International Wine Fair will open today at 12.00. On Saturday and Sunday the Fair will open at 10:00. On Friday and Saturday the Fair will be open until 19:00, whereas on Sunday it will close at 16.00.
