The price of "Flamingo International" Bucureşti shares grew more than 45% in the last month

Shares of electronics and household appliances retailer "Flamingo International" Bucureşti, traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange with the symbol FLA, brought the highest yield to investors, representing the best investment on the market for one month. Thus the quote of FLA shares grew 45% to 0.034 lei/share between February 3rd - March 3rd.

Investors who chose gold last month had reasons to be happy as well. Thus, people who turned to this type of placement got a return of 4.20% on their investment, slightly lower than the return of the previous day.

People who opted for monthly deposits in Euros with a commercial bank were also winners. Thus, those who one month ago chose this type of investment, would have gained 0.54% (in Euros), had they chosen the deposits in Euros from "Banca Românească", "Banca Transilvania" or "Romanian International Bank".

Investors who chose mutual funds were even happier. Thus, those who turned to the fund "Aviva Investors Orizont", saw the highest gains for this investment type, namely 1.49% of the initial amount.

People who decided to open deposits in lei at Alpha Bank during the period concerned, also saw slight gains. Investors who turned to deposits in lei with "Romanian International Bank", which provided a 1.31% return on the deposited amount were the luckiest.

People who chose to put their money "under the mattress" also made an inspired choice. Due to the slight appreciation of the leu against the Euro, those who didn"t choose any type of investment saw their savings grow 0.06%.

However, people who risked their savings in a portfolio consisting of shares of the SIFs, were not too happy. Thus, the BET-FI index, (calculated in Euros), that tracks the evolution of the five companies for financial investments (SIFs) traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, dropped 12.66% during the reviewed period, while the BET index, that tracks the evolution of the ten most liquid shares on the BSE, dropped 16%, in the last month.
