EnglishConstruction company Cominco Bucharest posted a turnover of 99.6 million RON in the first half of 2007, double as compared with 48.4 million RON in the same period last year, according to a report to Rasdaq. Net profit increased four times to 116,760 RON, as compared with 30,380 RON in the first six months of 2006.
The company ended the first six months with an operating profit of 1.356 million RON and a financial loss of 1.16 million RON, reporting a gross profit of 195,700 RON.
On August 17th, a 3.2% stake in Cominco changed hands for 4.62 million RON (1.42 million EUR) through three special transactions. A total of 57,800 Cominco shares were transferred at the price of 80 RON/share.
Cominco has a share capital of 4.5 million RON, divided into 1.8 million shares with a face value of 2.50 RON. The significant shareholders in the company are Catalin Traian Gemanar (14.28%), Gheorghe Gemanar (13.36%), Florin Rusu (13.50%) and Dan Garjoaba (13.54%). Cominco Bucharest is listed on Rasdaq as COBS and has a merket capitalisation of 149.56 million RON.
