A greenfield investment of over 2,8 million EUR will be launched in Slatina on Friday, according to Rompress. The factory in Slatina will manufacture steel pipes for the auto industry and is sheduled to open in September, according to Florin Ionita, CEO of SC Benteler Distribution Romania SRL.
The factory will be built by Astrom Building on a surface area of 5.100 square meters. In the first phase, 35 people will work in the factory and in time the number of employees wil increase, along with the production capacity of the unit in Slatina, said Karel Buthker, CEO of Benteler Group.
According to Karel Buthkel, Benteler Group is a market leader and one one of the world market leaders in the manufacuring and distribution of pipes for the automotive industry. Presently, Benteler Group owns factories in Germany and worldwide and has a turnover of 4 billion EUR.
