EnglishBlue Air Transport Aerian SA last year requested the bankruptcy of SC Fotbal Club Rapid SA. According to information published on the website of the Court of Bucharest, last Thursday a new hearing took place on this matter. The officials of "Ana Holding", the company owned by George Copos, which owns the Rapid soccer club, said: "The dispute has already been settled amicably. The amount claimed by Blue Air was part of the several millions Euros in debt that Rapid had accrued in 2008, when there was an agreement to sell the club, which was led by a board of administration which was dominated by the officials of the promissory buyer".
Last autumn, another request for the bankruptcy of Rapid submitted by Elite Events was also settled amicably.
