EnglishRomstal Leasing SA financed 1,030 contracts worth 39.7 million EUR in October 2007, thus achieving a 127% growth from October 2006. "Taking part in SIAB has always given Romstal Leasing the opportunity to gain more business on the auto leasing market (...). We have managed to pass the milestone of 1,000 contracts in a month while doubling the value of financing compared to September. In fact, it is the best monthly total so far: 19 million EUR," said Marketing Manager Ionut Chirila.
Approximately 60% of the contracts concluded in October were derived from the company"s participation in the car show SIAB. The initial projection of 25 million EUR for October was exceeded 60% following SIAB.
Ten months through the year, Romstal Leasing landed 4,883 contracts worth 172 million EUR up 44% y/y. The company"s portfolio comprises car leasing - 41%, commercial vehicle leasing - 27.5%, utility vehicle leasing - 15.5%, motorcycles - 1.4%, equipment - 8.2% and buildings - 6.3%. Romstal Leasing is controlled by KBC.
