EnglishThe Ministry of Education has opened a public consultation for the draft Order approving the general criteria for granting scholarships and other forms of financial support from the state budget to students in public higher education institutions with regular attendance. The main proposals concern the provision of a study scholarship for double specialization teaching bachelor's degrees and teaching master's degrees, equal to the net salary of a beginner teacher. They also include the provision of Olympic Excellence scholarships for students enrolled in the first year of public higher education institutions who have won first, second, or third prizes at international school Olympiads. Additionally, a scholarship is proposed to support dual education. Furthermore, public higher education institutions have the autonomy to establish internal procedures for providing financial support to students with outstanding achievements, for participation in conferences, or for the publication of scientific articles.
