Bere Azuga Back In Black Amid 46.5% Turnover Boost

Brewer Bere Azuga (RASDAQ:BEGY) concluded the first nine months of the year with a net profit of 875,300 RON (260,800 EUR), up from some losses in the corresponding period of 2006 amid a 46.5% increase in turnover, according to an announcement to RASDAQ. In the referenced period, the company landed 23.3 million RON (6.95 million EUR) in turnover, up from 15.9 million RON in the year-ago period, when losses amounted to 34,000 RON.

The company is controlled by Valeriu Morariu with 50%, followed by Rombas Trans International SRL with 20.09%. The company has a share capital of 5.88 million RON (1.63 million EUR) divided into 2.35 million shares with a face value of 2.5 RON. The shareholders will convene December 17th to decide whether to increase share capital by 7.64 million RON (2.12 million EUR) to 13.5 million RON (3.75 million EUR) and to borrow 3.25 million EUR.
