The Mayoralty of Galaţi will submit four projects included in the Integrated Urban Development Plan for approval by the Regional Development Agency (ADR) South East. Deputy Mayor Nicuşor Ciumacenco announced that the four projects will cost an estimated 61,65 million lei, funding which will come from structural funding, with the local budget to cofinance 2% of the amount.
The money will be used for the rehabilitation of the road surfaces and of the streetcar lines in the between Oţelarilor Bd. and the Stadionului, Frunzei and Gheorghe Asachi streets. The project also includes the modernization of the Public Garden, of the Rizer Park and of the street surface of Unirii Street, Nicusor Ciumacenco added. The mayoralty of Galaţi expects to receive an answer for these projects by November.
