CSSPP Modifies Regulations on Privately Managed Pension Licensing, Approval and Operation Fees

The Private Pension System Supervisory Council (CSSPP) last week approved the changes to the regulations regarding the fees related to the licensing, approval and operation of privately managed pension funds (Pillar II).

According to the new regulations, the Commission will charge fees for the official interpretation of the application regulations regarding the privately managed pension system in Romania (5,000 RON), assistance for establishing an entity subject to approval or licensing by the Commission (2,000 RON), assistance for creating a document subject to approval by the Commission (3,000 RON) and other forms of consultancy and services.

The approval fees are 1,000 RON for marketing agents (companies), 1,500 RON for consultants (companies), 1,000 RON for the accession act, 100 RON for the curriculum for marketing agent classes, 25 RON for changes to the documents submitted for the approval of marketing agents (individuals) etc.
