EnglishIn spite of the stringent need to cut costs, many companies still invest in R&D. Even in times of crisis, equipment makers show they have a long term vision: a significant number of companies continues to invest in R&D, according to a study by "Horváth & Partners". However the outlook for the future is not all rosy: in the coming years, most of the R&D capabilities are expected to move Eastern Europe and China. Two out of three German equipment makers indicated in the study that they will continue to invest in innovation (research & development) even in the current economic context.
