Members of the Timisoara city council will analyze, in their following meeting, the list of investors who will be allotted funds from the working capital established within the local budget for the current year. Thus, from the total amount of 8.2 million RON, 3.4 million RON will be used to continue the modernization works on Liviu Rebreanu Boulevard.
The local council allotted 2.7 million RON for the refurbisment of the public water supply system and further hydrotechnical works. The most important objectives are the refurbishment of the main sewage systems in the Kunz and Ghiroda neighbourhoods, costing 850.000 RON and respectively 1.1 million RON. The project also includes land viabilization for the construction of the ANL Miloia III housing complex (700.000 RON).
Public schools will be allotted over 1 million RON, for refurbisment and maintenance works as follows: 6000 RON for the PP26 kindergarden, 206.000 RON for elementary schools no. 9, 11, 16, 22, 27 and 850.000 RON for the CFR, Ungureanu, Azur, Agricol and Vidu high schools. Further 1.1 million RON will be spent for other city-related investments.
