Romad Braşov accessed co-financing as part of the National Rural Development Program as part of the measure 121 Expansion and modernization of a farm for breeding and growing of turkey hens, in the commune of Halchiu, county of Braşov, project which has been completed.

Gheorghe Dudu, shareholder and manager of Romad Braşov, said: Given the cutting edge technology, no investments will be necessary, at least for the coming three years, when it comes to the technological upgrade, as the farm specializes strictly in raising and fattening turkey hens and chickens for meat.

However, we are considering going to other types of activities as well, such as producing roughage.

The representative of the company considers that accessing European grants has been beneficial for the business and wants to access other such programs, for different measures.

The beneficiaries are advising other companies looking to access European grants to pick qualified consultants, to draft clear and feasible projects and to choose a partner, namely a bank to negotiate with from the initial stage. In that regard, we would heartily recommend that they resort to the support of CEC Bank, Mr. Dudu said.

He went on to say: By accessing this program, we were able to get the use of the latest technology, at a cost of 50% of the value of the project, thanks to the co-financing using European grants, the specialized assistance, as well as thanks to the cooperation with CEC Bank and their guidance as co-financing partner, which allowed the company to experience optimal growth.
