The key to the future of the energy market is to find new storage methods, and biogas is excellent for balancing volatile sources, such as wind or solar energy, according to Mr. Apetrei.
Elsaco Energy has entered the market for balancing services for the energy system, having contracts both with suppliers, as well as end consumers. Dan Apetrei claims that the legislation must ensure that consumers get treated the same as suppliers and producers when it comes to the tuning of the system.
Mr. Apetrei claims that the balancing market needs more transparency.
