VAE Apcarom SA posted 271,999 RON in net profit for the first quarter of the year, up from losses of 1.48 million RON in the year-ago period, according to a management report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange quoted by NewsIn. The turnover for the first three months of the year was 17.965 million RON, up 4.25 times than in Q1:2006.
VAE Apcarom SA - Buzau concluded last year with a net profit of 2.35 million RON (nearly 700,000 EUR), down two times from 2005 amid a slight increase in turnover. In 2005, VAE Apcarom posted a net profit of 4.78 million RON and a turnover of 50.46 million RON (14.95 million EUR) down by 1.9% from 2005"s 51.45 million RON. Estimates for this year indicate a turnover of 15.9 million EUR and a net profit of 1.31 million EUR.
