EnglishAAA AUTO SA Romania, part of the AAA AUTO group based in the Czech Republic, has recently inaugurated a new auto-centre in Bucharest, located on the Bucharest-Pitesti highway. The complex stretches on 14,780 square metres and includes a large showroom, a 12,310 square metre retail space, auto repair and additional space. In April this year, the company opened an auto-centre in Brasov and plans to open another one in Timisoara, as well as to expand existing centres.
Last year the company tripled its sales from 2005, selling 3100 units. Turnover amounted to 24.4 million EUR, compared with 8.41 million EUR in 2005. In the first quarter of 2007, the company doubled its sales compared with the same period last year.
The parent company AAA AUTO SA coordinates a network of 29 auto-centres in 5 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Poland). In 2006 AAA AUTO Group sold 61,165 cars, had a turnover of 349,1 million EUR and the number of employees reached 3000.
