Reporter: Every year, the Association of Brokers awards the most important achievements of the stock market players, but our stock market isn't exactly shining. When do you think we will get there?
Dan Paul: The Romanian stock market has a huge potential for growth and we hope that one day we will move up to the status of emerging markets. We all need to strive towards that goal.
Reporter: How was the year 2013 for the stock market, compared to other years?
Dan Paul: This year was much better than the last, the stock market is on an upward trend.
Reporter: What are your expectations for 2014?
Dan Paul: I have higher expectations than I did last year because major changes have taken place, privatizations of state owned companies have already been made through the stock exchange, corporate bonds issues have been performed. Things are going well.
Reporter: Many people feel that the coming of Ludwik Sobolewski as the CEO of the Stock Exchange is one of the positive events of the year. Do you feel that the new CEO will contribute to the development of the Exchange?
Dan Paul: Mr. Sobolewski has a plan for expansion, together with the management of the BSE. Considering his expertise, I think that the decision of the Board of the Direction as the right one.
Reporter: In the beginning of the year, you were saying that, in the community of brokers there are no more disagreements. What expectations do you have for the elections of the Association, which happens next week?
Dan Paul: I have positive expectations. There are no dissensions in the community. Things are still moving in the same direction, towards the development of the stock market.
