Ductil - Buzau, a manufacturer of electrodes and wires (RASDAQ:DUCL) posted an H1 net profit of 11 million RON (3.5 million EUR), up by 10.13% year-on-year, and a turnover of 73.68 million RON (23.5 million EUR), up by 11.37% year-on-year.
The company is one pf the leading manufacturers of welding materials and machine tools used for cutting metal. Ductil has a share capital of 18.4 million RON, divided into 184 million shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. It is controlled by Air Liquide Welding via Fro S.p.a with 71.35%.
Broadhurst Investments ranks second with 10.88%. Ductil concluded last year with a net profit of 15.7 million RON, up by 20% year-on-year, and a turnover of 135.4 million RON, up by 18% compared to 2005.
