Crin Antonescu does it again.
In the beginning he said: "I have confidence in Bogdan Olteanu"s abilities. And from here on in it"s his problem".
That"s how Bogdan Olteanu ended up a vice-governor of the National Bank of Romania, and his lack of abilities became our problem, instead of his.
Ten days after the appointment of Bogdan Olteanu on the position at the NBR, Crin Antonescu publicly admitted that Olteanu was not qualified for the position.
At the time I said in "BURSA", that this statement "lack of character the likes of which are not often found".
A similar thing is happening now when Crin Antonescu had The National Liberal Party enter an alliance with the Social-Democrats, the history repeats itself.
"I hope Geoană will be the president of all the Romanians", said Crin Antonescu. However this time he did not say "and after that it"s his problem", like he did in the case of Bogdan Olteanu.
Because in the case of Geoană, it painfully obvious it will be a problem for all of us ...
...including for Crin Antonescu himself.
It wouldn"t be a surprise to hear Antonescu say, ten days after Geoană becomes president, "that he is not fit to be president".
At least the National Bank found a solution for: Bogdan Olteanu was moved from the Operations Department, to a Statistics Division where they created a position especially for him.
But in the case of Geoană?!
How could we possibly come up with a different Romania for him?!
