"Ferrari" sees an increase in revenue of almost 5%

"Ferrari" has seen its revenue increase to 1.35 billion Euros (+4.8% YOY) at the end of Q3 2010, according to a press release sent to our editors. The press release states that the company delivered 4,598 cars in the reviewed period (+2.4%). The company"s operating profit reached 192 million Euros, a 9% increase compared to last year"s 176 million. The company"s industrial cashflow reached a record 213 million Euros.

The company"s officials said that revenue will continue to increase due to the online stores, as well as due to the theme park of Abu Dhabi.

Revenues for the third quarter totaled 446 million Euros, 12.6% higher than the figure for the third quarter of 2009, and the operating profit increased 46%.

"Our financial results, as well as our racing results, sum up the great effort put in by the entire Ferrari team. In a market that remains unstable, Ferrari has continued to offer exclusive, innovative and high quality cars, allowing us to take advantage of important sales opportunities. In racing, determination and the will never to give in have enabled us to get one of our drivers into the lead in the Formula 1 championship. We must continue with this commitment, both in the markets and on the track to bring an exceptional 2010 to a fitting conclusion," said Luca di Montezemolo, the CEO of "Ferrari".

Licensed products have seen a growth of almost 10%.

"Forza Rossa" is the sole importer of "Ferrari" on the Romanian market and also operates on the markets of Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova. With an average number of more than 20 cars sold a year, for the 2008 -2009 period, "Forza Rossa" is the leader of the Romanian luxury sports car market.
