EnglishThe "Honda Marine" model has officially entered the Romanian market, through "HIT Power Motor", importer for Romania and the Republic of Moldova. According to a press release sent to our editors, the launch of the new model on the Romanian market comes after an investment of 500,000 Euros and the creation of a strong partnership with a nationwide network of 12 dealers.
"The marine boating market is still young in Romania, but we have clear signs that make us confident that it will expand. Our goal for the first year is to reach a market share of 15% for the "outboard engine" made by Honda, and 10% for inflatable Honwave boats. Concerning the future of < Honda Marine >, we have big plans. We will complete the setup of our sales and service network, we will open a professional service and we will launch three of our own showrooms by the end of 2010 and four more showrooms in 2011. The necessary logistics for reaching our objectives for 2012 will require an additional investment of 300,000 Euros and we estimate it will bring help us gain a market share of 20%", said Valentin Ştefănescu, sales manager of "Hit Power Motor".
