Young people who want to become policemen, gendarmes, firefighters or border policemen can sign up, until October 6, for the admission contest in the post-secondary schools of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, October - December session, with 2,880 places available. According to the MAI, the application is completed legibly by the candidate, signed and sent, exclusively in electronic format, to the e-mail address of the recruitment unit, including on Saturdays and Sundays. In order to create the recruitment file, candidates submit the requested documents by October 24, during which their psychological evaluation will also be carried out. Psychologically fit candidates have to take two competitive tests: the knowledge evaluation test and the physical performance evaluation test. The physical performance evaluation test is held between November 1 and 6, regardless of the educational unit for which the candidate has opted, in the regional selection centers, as follows: "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Police Academy - for candidates from the Municipality of Bucharest and the counties Argeş, Calarasi, Constanta, Giurgiu, Ialomiţa, Ilfov, Teleorman, Tulcea; "Vasile Lascăr" Câmpina School of Police Officers - for candidates from Braşov, Brăila, Buzău, Covasna, Dâmboviţa, Galati, Prahova, Vrancea counties; School of Police Agents "Septimiu Mureşan" Cluj-Napoca - for candidates from Alba, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Cluj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Maramureş, Mureş, Sălaj, Sibiu counties; Oradea "Avram Iancu" Border Police Agent Training School - for candidates from the counties of Arad, Bihor, Caraş-Severin, Satu Mare, Timiş; "Grigore Alexandru Ghica" Drăgăşani Military School for Gendarmerie NCOs - for candidates from Dolj, Gorj, Mehedinţi, Olt, Vâlcea counties; "Petru Rareş" Fălticeni Military School for Gendarmerie NCOs - for candidates from the counties of Bacău, Botoşani, Iasi, Neamţ, Suceava, Vaslui.
Candidates for the "Pavel Zăgănescu" Boldesti School of Non-Commissioned Firefighters and Civil Protection take the physical performance evaluation test exclusively at the headquarters of this educational institution, states the MAI. The knowledge assessment test is held on November 9 and consists of a grid test that includes: subjects from the disciplines: Romanian language - 40% and foreign language - 15%; subjects from the specific legislation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as of the political institutions of the state - 20%; subjects of civic and citizenship education, exercises to assess the ability to analyze and synthesize, as well as exercises on learning logical reasoning - 15%. The medical examination for candidates who fall within the number of places taken out in the admission competition will take place in descending order of final grades, between November 13 and December 23. The final admission results are displayed at the headquarters of the educational units and are posted on their official website, until December 24.
