The National Company Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport (AIHCB) posted a turnover of approximately 280 million lei at the end of November 2009, around 3% higher compared to November 2008. The company estimates a turnover of 319 million lei for the entire year 2009, up 8% over 2008.
CN AIHCB SA, the company which operates the Henri Coandă airport posted a gross profit of 85 million lei at the end of November 2009, thus seeing a 13% drop YOY. According to a press release sent to our editors, the company estimates a gross profit of 103 million lei for the entire year 2009, down 12% from December 2008.
The Henri Coandă Airport recorded a number of 3,803,103 passengers in the first ten months of 2009, out of which 3,387,240 traveled to international destinations, and 415,863 to domestic destinations. Passenger traffic for the reviewed period of 2009 dropped around 13% compared to the similar period of 2008. The company estimates an annual turnover of 4,500,000 passengers for the entire year of 2009, down 10% over 2008.
