EnglishVega Refinary, controled by Rompetrol SA Bucharest, reported a turnover of 415.38 million RON (122.8 million EUR) for the fiscal year 2006, recording a 20.25% increase from 351.49 million RON in 2005, according to a company press release quoted by NewsIn. The company ended 2006 with losses of 3.93 million RON (1.16 million EUR), compared with a net profit of 399,856 RON a year earlier.
Rompetrol Bucharest SA (Vega Refinery) reported a net profit of 2.4 million RON (734,000 EUR) for the first quarter of the current year, compared with losses of 5.4 million RON in the year-ago quarter. Turnover amounted to 108.07 million RON (32.2 million EUR), up 71.42% from 62.93 million RON in the same period last year. The company has a share capital of 174.53 million RON and is controled by The Rompetrol Group with 82.36%.
